The load-bearing capacity of plastic pallet

Plastic pallets mainly use high-strength plastics such as high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polypropylene (PP), among which HDPE has better impact resistance and PP has stronger high temperature resistance. The compressive strength and toughness of different materials directly affect the static and dynamic load-bearing capacity of pallets. The load-bearing capacity of plastic pallets is also related to the following factors.

Structural Design
Sichuan shaped structure: The bottom is designed with three longitudinal reinforcement ribs to disperse pressure, with a static load capacity of 4-6 tons and a dynamic load capacity of 1.5-2 tons, especially suitable for heavy cargo transportation.

Grid type panel: By dispersing the load through a grid, local stress concentration is reduced. Combined with a Sichuan shaped base, the dynamic load in intelligent warehousing can reach over 1.5 tons.

Double sided/single-sided pallet: Double sided pallets support four-way forklift operation, with more balanced load-bearing capacity; Single sided pallets are suitable for stacking storage, but require high ground flatness.

Process technology

High temperature welding technology can enhance the overall structural strength of the pallet and reduce the risk of cracking; Injection molding technology enhances deformation resistance and extends service life.

Optimization direction for improving load-bearing capacity:

Choose a Sichuan or Tian shaped structure with dense reinforcement to enhance compressive strength.

Adopting anti slip rubber pads or surface texture design to avoid local overloading caused by cargo sliding.

Customize material formulas based on environmental requirements (such as anti-static and low-temperature resistant modified materials) to expand applicable scenarios.

Usage taboos

Avoid excessive stacking to prevent structural fatigue. Prohibited from overloading in extreme temperatures (such as PP material exceeding 80 ℃) or chemical corrosion environments.
