As a core carrier in modern logistics and warehousing, the "Chuan" plastic pallet derives its name from the Chinese character "川" formed by three longitudinal support beams at the base. This design achieves weight distribution and stability enhancement through mechanical optimization, making it the preferred choice for automated warehouses, cold chain logistics, and other applications. Based on surface structure differences, Chuan pallets are primarily categorized into grid-type and flat-type: the grid-type features an interlaced open design with both ventilation and anti-slip functions, while the flat-type offers a fully enclosed surface for greater contact area.
Both types of pallets are injection-molded from HDPE or PP materials, featuring corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. However, the grid-type pallets are lighter in weight (approximately 15-20kg) due to their hollowed-out structure, while the flat-type pallets perform better in load-bearing uniformity thanks to their integrated design. With standardized dimensions (e.g., 1200×1000mm) and a four-way entry structure, they are compatible with automated equipment such as forklifts and stackers, offering broad adaptability in e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, automotive parts, and other industries.
The core differences between mesh-type and flat-type trays primarily lie in their structural design and functional characteristics. The mesh tray features a diamond-patterned perforated surface, combining ventilation and anti-slip functions: the perforated structure promotes air circulation, making it suitable for storing heat-sensitive food and chemical products; while the anti-slip texture prevents cargo sliding, particularly ideal for transporting precision items like electronic components. In contrast, the flat tray has a fully enclosed surface, providing greater load-bearing area to effectively distribute pressure when stacking heavy machinery parts or liquid containers, thereby reducing the risk of localized deformation.
In terms of load-bearing performance, the mesh type typically has a dynamic load capacity of 1.5 tons due to its hollow design, slightly lower than the flat type's 2 tons. However, with the reinforcement of built-in steel pipes, it can achieve the same standard. Regarding environmental adaptability, the mesh type performs stably within a temperature range of -30°C to 65°C and is easy to rinse, making it the preferred choice for cold chain logistics. The flat type, on the other hand, features a seamless structure that is more moisture-resistant and suitable for long-term outdoor storage. In terms of cost, the flat type is 10%-15% cheaper due to its reduced material usage.
The differentiated design of the plastic pallet ensures precise adaptability across various logistics scenarios. The grid-type pallet, with its ventilation and anti-slip features, is an ideal choice for food cold chain and pharmaceutical warehousing—its hollow structure accelerates air circulation, ensuring uniform refrigeration of fresh produce, while the anti-slip surface securely stabilizes drug packaging to prevent tipping risks during transportation. The flat-type pallet, on the other hand, is more suitable for heavy-load scenarios, such as automotive parts warehouses, where its fully flat structure provides stable support for heavy components like engines, withstanding long-term stacking without deformation or denting.
