The structural principle of leak proof pallet
Source: kuda  Time2025-08-29
The core design of leak proof trays lies in their enclosed leak containment structure, which is usually manufactured using integrated molding technology and mainly made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) material. The bottom of the tray is equipped with an anti-seepage layer, and the edges are designed with raised enclosures to effectively intercept leaked liquids; Some models are equipped with detachable grilles for easy cleaning and liquid recovery. Steel pallets are coated with epoxy resin powder to prevent rust and corrosion, while plastic pallets rely on the chemical resistance of polyethylene materials to resist the erosion of most acidic and alkaline solvents. The integrated design of the drain hole and ball valve further improves the emergency handling efficiency of leaked liquids.
The principle behind the results of leak proof pallets
Typical application scenarios

Chemical industry: When storing corrosive chemicals such as paint and solvents, leak proof trays can prevent leakage from penetrating the soil or coming into contact with personnel. At the same time, they are equipped with forklift handling functions to meet the turnover needs of heavy containers.

In the field of petroleum energy, it is used for temporary storage of oil drums and ton drums. Its anti slip grille design can avoid the risk of rollover during oil transportation and reduce fire hazards.

Medical and laboratory: In the storage of biological agents and chemical reagents, trays can prevent cross contamination and comply with biosafety regulations.

Food processing: During the transportation of liquid foods such as sauces and juices, pallets are used to ensure hygiene standards and avoid product waste.

Industry Value and Trends

With the tightening of environmental regulations, leak proof trays have become an essential facility for enterprise compliance management. The trend towards multifunctional design is evident, such as the application of anti-static trays in electronic chemical storage, as well as modular tray combinations forming leak detection workstations. In the future, material lightweighting and intelligence (such as the integration of leak monitoring sensors) may become the direction of technological breakthroughs.
